The bleak truth is that 18% of children aged 7-16 years were identified by NHS England as having a mental health disorder. The impact on the future working population is enormous.

NLF is a Charity designed to support students who are struggling to engage in education. They use nature based learning to help them become confident, happy and resilient. All to help engage in the workplace and make a positive contribution.
Students spend 1 day per week for 5 weeks at the Courteenhall Estate, participating in activities that are not normally in the education curriculum.
Parents attend 2 sessions at the beginning to help children manage anxiety as well as receive support with behaviour managment.
Teachers and Support staff are provided with skills to support the initiative.
Co Founded by Roade School and Courteenhall Estate 2 years ago it has produced excellent results and the Charity are now looking for support from and engagement with local employers so that the programme can be extended into the workplace.
